environmental impact

It is of the utmost importance to me that Festa Paper products and packaging are made from the highest quality, sustainable materials. Unfortunately, much of the greeting card and paper industry uses an insane amount of single-use plastic for product packaging and shipping. Most products are made overseas, yielding mass quantities of transportation pollution.

Festa Paper is doing its part to not contribute to these harmful practices. FP uses zero single-use plastic, works with only local vendors, and has partnered with the CarbonFund to be a carbon-neutral company. Every measure has been taken to ensure that each aspect and material of Festa Paper is as kind to the earth as possible, and still so chic.

paper

All of Festa Paper products are made with high-quality paper that is carbon neutral, FSC Certified, Green Seal Certified, made using wind power, processed chlorine-free, and with 30% PCW recycled content. Why not 100% recycled? Because after much research I learned that a shocking amount of pollution is created when taking recycled content and turning it back into, bright white card stock. 30% PCW recycled content is much more earth-friendly, even if it seems counterintuitive.

printing

I work with an amazing, family-owned commercial printing company, located 6 minutes down the street from my home. As a result, there is very little transportation pollution, eliminating the need for any type of excessive packaging. The proximity has also allowed me to get to know every single wonderful person who helps create Festa Paper products.

Fun fact: I met the owner, Kamron, serendipitously at the post office!

packaging

Festa Paper greeting cards are wrapped in acid-free, FSC-Certified, soy-ink printed, recyclable tissue paper.

Personalized stationery and card sets are packaged in a 100% recycled, unbleached/dyed, chemical-free, molded pulp box. The box is recyclable, compostable, and produces zero manufacturing or water waste.

All orders ship in 100% recycled, USA-made cardboard boxes or flat mailers, sealed with paper, soy-ink printed tape.
